What is Novus Guard?
An all-in-one platform for safety and operations: lone worker protection, workforce and fleet management, guard patrol, geofencing, tasks, visitors, HR and job bidding — with an AI assistant for operational questions.
What is the difference between Pro and Solo?
Pro is for organisations: web control room, field officer app and admin Control app for multi-user operations. Solo is personal safety for individuals — manual and automatic SOS, including offline SOS — not the full workforce stack.
What apps do we need for Pro?
Most teams use three surfaces: the web admin for controllers, the officer app (Mobile Pro) for field staff, and the Control app for managers on the move. Packages and roles determine which modules are enabled.
What SOS types does Pro support?
Beyond a simple panic button: manual SOS, discreet triggers, fall detection, no-movement, low battery, missed check-call / book-off, voice triggers, geofence enter/exit, and supported wearable discreet/fall devices. Types can be configured in SOS settings.
What is a duress PIN?
When resolving an SOS, a duress PIN can appear to clear the alert normally while silently signalling the control room that the officer is under threat.
Does the officer app work offline?
Yes. Mobile Pro is offline-first: work is queued locally and synced when connectivity returns. Critical paths can also use SMS fallback where configured. Solo is marketed to raise SOS without Wi-Fi for personal safety.
How do guard patrols work?
Controllers create Single, Scheduled or Dated patrol templates. Officers execute tours and register checkpoints with NFC, QR or Beacon. Incomplete patrols are tracked for follow-up and reporting.
What is the AI assistant?
Web and mobile apps include an AI assistant so staff can ask natural-language questions about operations. The Control app also offers a voice assistant for hands-free commands such as guided job creation.
